Fig is a handmade French Bulldog doll, sewn slowly in Maine from natural wool and carefully chosen textiles. She has pointed ears, hand-embroidered whiskers, and a two-toned face — golden on one side, cream on the other — that gives her a quietly distinctive look, like a dog you'd recognize from across the room.
She's dressed in a navy and cream stripe top tucked into brown linen overalls. The kind of outfit worn by someone with somewhere to be — a boat to check on, a dock to sweep, something small and important to fix.
